Michael is a Senior Software Engineer at Insureware. He holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics and B.Sc. Physics (Hons), both from Vilnius University (Lithuania).

Michael has in excess of 25 years experience in research and IT, starting with 16 years affiliation with the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences. After moving to Australia back in 1993, Michael has worked for such companies as AES Prodata, NEC Australia, Tattersall's and Invetech.

Michael has a great deal of expertise in software development methodologies, real-time and embedded systems, multi-threaded C++ applications, mathematical methods, scientific/computational programming, Database and Internet technologies.

Michael's mixture of advanced software engineering and mathematical skills has been an important part of Insureware's software development team since 2004.
