Key enhancements in ICRFS™ 2025
Enhanced Database Management
1. Personalised user settings [in ICRFS Options => Database]:
- tree/query view default,
- icon size,
- show/hide locks,
- local database sharing (useful for debugging local COM scripts),
- item tracking
2. Standardisation of database objects
- All database objects names now extended to 64 characters
- Description fields for all DB objects including TGs and Variables
- Global database Notes tab
- Variables can be assigned a type (numeric / date / text / auto).
- Extension of revision management system to all database objects
- Additional system attributes added
3. Extended support for server database management via Active Directory (control over views into database)

Multiple Probabilistic Trend Family (MPTF) modeling framework
11. Can now load MPTF models from related composite datasets [from any compatible composite dataset]
For example, let's say you have a company wide composite Triangle Group: "Whole Company", and composite triangle groups for individual, non-overlapping, business units: "BU1", "BU2", etc.
A model developed for the 'Whole Company' can now simply load in models for BU1, BU2, from their respective CTGs.Each loaded model applies only to the respective datasets within the business units.
The same applies to loading forecasts (see below).
